Make keyboard shortcut more reliable
Currently the keyboard shortcut will not work if Top Sites or a blank page is open, or if the address bar is selected.

second search parameter
Hi, KeySearch is great, but for some purposes (i.e. searching phone numbers by name AND city) it would be a comfortable option to pass a second search parameter (maybe spearated by a special character)

Allow spaces in URL expansion to be replaced by either '+' or '%20'
Encoding spaces as '+' symbols is standard for sites that provide search terms as keyword arguments (e.g., "http://imdb.com/find?q=two+words"), but some sites implement searches by parsing the base URL (e.g., "http://kat.ph/usearch/two+words/").
In those cases, I believe the quoting standards may be somewhat different. That kat.ph URL, for example, wants '%20' instead of '+'.
Perhaps KeySearch could analyze the context of @@@ in more detail and provide the appropriate type of quoting automatically. Or at least, it would be nice to be able to specify variant quoting (e.g., by @@@@ or @@@!) by hand for the few sites…

Search multiple sites at the same time
e.g. One Keyword can be used to search several different online stores, bookshops, software repositories, or news sites (with results in different tabs).
Possible implementation:
We enter a new Keyword and name, but then instead of a URL we enter a list of pre-existing search terms that will all be activated by that Keyword.6 votes -
Modal bar, URLs, autofill
I love the modal bar and have set a custom search for entering URLs so I can have my safari toolbar hidden full time. But if it could recognize full URLs then I could copy and paste an address into it. Also, some sort of autocomplete functionality for search terms / URLs in the modal search would really round it out. Cheers.

replace keyword/searchword separator in safari search bar
It would be great if we can customise the separator character between the keyword and the search word(s) specially when you search on the Safari bar. For now it is a space but it can be a ":" for instance.
like youtube:funny video
It will lives you the ability to really search "youtube funny video" on google if you replace ":" by a space. (for now I have added ":" at the end of all my keywords but it can be better customised)You can also imagine that a different separator will have an alternative behaviour :

Bug with Command Click
When set to open in current window, Command click in modal pop up opens in new tab (correctly), while in toolbar it opens an additional background tab.

my perfect results setting
I don't know if it's possible but i would like to open results setting in a new tab ONLY if the current tab is not blank (I easily get blank pages due to my safari settings). This will avoid me to have useless blank tabs.

Highlight & search Google (command + click) in Safari
With Anysearch, I can no longer highlight something, right-click (COMMAND + click) & select "Search with Google." I obviously have searches disabled from the omnibar in Safari 6.

Keywords containing symbols can be unreliable
Keywords containing symbols can be unreliable. In particular enabling and disabling them using the on/off switch doesn't always work.
This is because the keyword is used as the CSS id, causing problems if it contains disallowed characters.

Add a Duplicate command to the tool gear
My many years of compute use and GUI programming have led me to the very strong conviction that wherever some kind of list of entries appears in any application, utility, tool, etc. the menu for operating on the currently selected entry should include a Duplicate command. (The shortcut command-D is very widely used for this.)

Bug with google/address bar search
Before some updates ago if I'd typed something in the address bar without keywords it'll search in google etc. If I'd use keyword it would do KeySearch job. After some updates for Keysearch the address bar doesn't search in google unless you deactivate "Enable KeySearch via address bar"

Is MS Windows 7 supported?
I used both Mac OS and Windows. I installed Key Search in the Safari of my Mac, I like it very much. I tried to install it in the Safari under MS Windows 7. I can install it and run it with the default keys. However, the "Edit Keywords" and "Settings" are blank. I can't add any keys or change any settings.
